The authorized certification company TÜV Austria (partnership with Adria International Cert) performed the annual audit of KEMIS-Termoclean’s integrated management system on 25 and 26 March 2021. These are the supervisory audits of the quality management system ISO 9001:2015, the environmental management system ISO 14001:2015, the health and safety management system ISO 45001:2018 and the supervisory audit of the safety certification of suppliers SCCp:2011.
The two-day audit was organized according to the requirements of the mentioned ISO standards and the SCC checklist. This year, the audit was actively attended by the heads of all Kemis organizational units (company director, human resources, accounting and finance, commercial, operations, waste storage, occupational safety and fire protection, development and IMS – integrated management system).
Auditors of TÜV Austria Mr. Marijan Špiljar and Mrs. Marjeta Miholić Jeić visited the locations of the Gorenje Management Board, the operational and storage of non-hazardous waste on Kanalski put in Zagreb, and the location of the operational and storage of hazardous and non-hazardous waste in Novi Vinodolski. The audit was very successful, the company significantly improved the overall system and no non-compliance was found, although the past year was specifically aggravated by the Covid-19 virus pandemic and the earthquakes that hit our environment. The appointment of new managers in the operations, warehousing, accounting and finance services has significantly improved the quality of business processes in all aspects. By taking responsibility for the effectiveness of the management system, the management has proven its leadership and commitment to the system. We especially emphasize the additional comment of Mr. Špiljar stated that we are on the right track to become a model of what a management system should look like in practice.
