Due to the specific situation caused by the COVID-19 virus, the authorized certification company Adria International Cert (partnership with TÜV Austria) headed by the director of the company Mr. Marijan Špiljar on March 26 and 27, 2020, performed a remote integrated audit of KEMIS-Termoclean on as many as 4 international standards via a skype video connection. We presented the documents directly via video link or sent them to the auditor’s e-mail.
These were recertification audits of the ISO 9001: 2015 quality management system and the ISO 14001: 2015 environmental management system, the transition of the OHSAS 18001: 2007 health and safety management system to ISO 45001: 2018 and the supervisory audit of supplier safety certification SCCp: 2011. The audit is organized according to the requirements of the mentioned ISO standards and the SCC checklist. Despite the difficult communication situation, the audit was actively attended by the heads of all Kemis organizational units (company director, human resources, accounting and finance, commercial, operations, waste storage, safety at work and fire protection, development and IMS).
Kemis members defended the area of their business processes with high quality, so that the audit was very successful and no non-compliance was found. Every Kemis employee is part of the management system and has the responsibility to implement business processes from its area of responsibility with the opportunity to be better and to further improve and simplify business.
