As part of socially responsible business projects, we present our small neighbors from Jastrebarsko.
SOCIETY OUR CHILDREN JASTREBARSKO is an association founded with the aim of organizing and conducting activities for children of kindergarten and primary school age.
The main goals of DND Jastrebarsko are:
- encouraging and leading activities with children in their free time and organizing and conducting actions for children, all based on the interests, wishes and needs of children,
- promotion and realization of the rights of the child,
- providing support to parents in the development and upbringing of children from birth to completion of primary schooling.
In this valuable Association, many projects for children and with children stand out, of which the most important is the Universal Sports School Little Knight, 20 years of continuous implementation of the Summer and Winter Playhouse, through which up to 1.000 children pass annually and certainly the project “Little Scientists”, has been implemented since 2014 in the City, which was the basis for the application of the EU tender called With STEM raSTEMo, total value of 2.259.276,71 kuna (fully funded by the European Social Fund). The plan of the EU project “With STEM raSTEMo” is to conduct scientific workshops in the City of Jastrebarsko, set up a Science Park, equip a multifunctional classroom and include in the program of developing new innovative teaching models about a thousand participants from all over Croatia. workshops.
